Daisy Fuentes and Richard Marx
How romantic! Daisy Fuentes confirmed in a tweet on Friday, December 25, that she is married to singer Richard Marx.
“This happened & I couldn’t be happier,” the former MTV VJ, 49, wrote as she shared a sweet pic of her and her new husband surrounded by snow-covered mountains.
According to a caption on the photo, the pair tied the knot on Wednesday, December 23, in Aspen, Colorado.
Many years ago I had the opportunity to MC for Richard’s show at the PNE in Vancouver B.C. I’ve probably acted as the MC for over a hundred concerts but I have NEVER had an experience like that. The fervor of the audience and their deafening screams had me thinking that maybe I would turn around and find The Beatles standing behind me.
It wouldn’t have mattered what I said, in fact I could have read my grocery list from earlier that day and they would have drowned out every word. Bacon (SCREAM) Eggs (SCREAM) … They LOVED him …
Marx also tweeted a wedding photo that showed his bride wearing a white, lace-trimmed gown with sheer sleeves, and holding a bouquet of white roses.
“On December 23rd, 2015 the magnificent @daisyfuentes gave me the honor of becoming my wife,” the 52-year-old wrote.
Marx, best known for ‘80s hits like “Right Here Waiting” and “Should’ve Known Better,” was previously married to Dirty Dancing star Cynthia Rhodes. They split in 2014 after 25 years of marriage. Fuentes was married to actor and model Timothy Adams from 1991 to 1995.
Fuentes, who co-hosts La Voz Kids on Telemundo, was featured in the video for Marx’s 2014 song “Beautiful Goodbye.”
