You can see from the picture that this amazing piece of auto-art had VERY humble beginnings! lol Join us today at 5:30 as JF pulls the cover off to unveil this beauty. Yes TODAY through SUNDAY at Tradex in Abbotsford B.C. This is the first time EVER that the RIDLER AWARD WINNER (the nicest car on the continent) has debuted in B.C. & the first time in 30 years that it has been snagged by a Canadian. JF Kustoms from Okanagan Falls B.C. had high dollar offers from across the country but said, “Nope I’m coming home to the B.C. Classic & Custom Car Show!” This ’64 Riviera is named RIVISION & just won the ’14 Detroit Autorama. The Riv features an 850 hp Chevy big block and 6-speed trans. It looks like it’s a mid-engine config, but the engine is in the front. In back are the twin superchargers which are visible along with the intake plumbing through the ’71 Boat Tail Riv rear window. Launier is not only the owner but the builder, which is fairly unique for recent Ridler wins. Congrats to JF! We’ll be on location for the entire duration of the show join us as we host Cacklefest tonight & tomorrow at 9 p.m. & Sunday at 2 p.m. (NOTE: Barry Prescotts jet will not fire up on Sunday)
